ERCOT frequently updates it long term load forecast. The last update was from 18-Jul-2024. Here are the main forecasts for long term load.

Summer Peak

Summer peal load is expected to grow at 6.8% per year from 2024-2033. This is a marked departure from the recent past (they don’t give the number for peak load).

Average Energy Growth

The average energy growth is even more aggressive, rising by 13.6% in the period of 2024-2033. The historical energy growth from 2014-2024 is 3.1%.
